I still have one remaining T-shirt transfer of my Starsky & Hutch w/kittens piece, and one of my Donald/Timmy transfer that accidentally got printed without text, for $7.00 each + shipping ($5 to the US). If you send me a shirt, I'll apply the transfer for free, or I can send instructions with the transfer if you want a local T-shirt place to press the transfer onto a shirt or other textile item for you. (These are opaque transfers for color shirts.) Just let me know in the comments if you want either transfer.

Oh, dear. Poor Will Turner. They've managed to make the child completely unattractive in this head sculpture. I'm not completely happy with any of the POTC sculpts from Tonner Dolls, but at least Elizabeth and Jack sorta looked like themselves, and were at least pretty, if sort of a B- on the verisimilitude scale. But poor Will! Poor, poor Will.

My personal opinion is that the likeness is pretty darned close, but not absolutely perfect. However, as with all doll sculpts, the features may look more or less like the actor from different angles. As always with Tonner dolls, the costume looks extremely nice, from what we can see of it, being all black-on-blacky. (ETA: I've added a lighter version of the photo that shows more costume detail.) Tonner costumes are almost always beautifully made and detailed. (Barring only, perhaps, the DC comic dolls from this company.)

These shirts are all brand new, heavyweight short sleeve tees, 5.5-6.0 oz 100% cotton, pre-shrunk. The Sandstone tee is ringspun cotton (extra soft). Feel free to ask me if you can't decide which designs will work on these colors. (Just a couple of suggestions: navy will work with almost all of the designs, Sandstone goes well with Suzan's Mag 7 and the combo SG1 designs, the House design, the LOTR, Homicide. My Changes design looks good on this color.)

One Dish Meals by The Culinary Institute of America

This book has a terrific and eclectic selection of dishes from a variety of cultures, including Asian dishes (including a couple with tofu that sound fantastic), Russian, Greek (even how to make gyros at home!), Italian. Eggplant parmesan, yum. Soups, stews, casseroles -- just a mouth-watering selection. A huge number of photos, including extra photos to help with assembling dishes that are slightly more exotic or might seem difficult.

Tarte au sucre Press is proud to announce "Martinis by Moonlight."

Submissions are invited. Encouraged! Popular fan fiction writer Elizabeth Holden is hard at work on a tale that's sure to please, and the fabulous Suzan Lovett will be creating a scrumptious color cover. So please do join us!

1. Stories/artwork/whatever can be from movie or book 'verse, or both.
2. Long stories are preferred, but text should be at least 6,000 words.
3. As the series takes place in Albany, vocabulary/grammar/spelling should be American. You needn't worry about this, but just please be aware that I will edit for errors and will not make changes without agreement from the author/artist.
4. Deadline: 1 April 08.
5. All contributors will receive a trib copy, of course.

This transfer is of a piece titled "The Eagle Nebula" and it is absolutely
breathtaking. Features Kirk, Spock and McCoy framed by the wings and head of a gorgeous golden eagle, with a sidebar containing all of the supporting TOS cast plus Sarek and Amanda and several; other characters. Elaborate and intricately detailed.

In the coming weeks there will be some more of Suzan's and my art available as transfers in various fandoms.

I can put the transfers on a shirt or tote for the buyer for an additional cost. I can usually get shirts from S-6X in varying colors. (I pay retail for the shirts/totes and charge what it costs me, plus the cost of applying the transfer and/or making it an opaque transfer for color/dark shirts.)

The zines in this sale are from a friend's collection, so my knowledge of some of them is not in-depth. I've tried to be as accurate as possible. Conditions range from "very good" to "showing an acceptable amount of wear." I'll try to note condition with zines that are in question.

The Power Of Gold: The Karenina Chronicles #5 -- If you love vampires tortured by their ethics, TV, excellent writing and fantastic art (or any of the above), this zine is for you. BIG zine. The final volume in Susan M. Garrett's fantastic Karenina Chronicles series, it details the travels and the adventures of ex-spy and vampire Karenina as she searches for the one man who can cure her of her curse. On the way, she meets up with characters from every TV show imaginable. Never watched those shows? Don't worry -- Susan's skilled writing takes care of that. (I don't like vampires and had never watched three-fourths of the shows in the Karenina Chronicles -- never made one bit of difference: I *loved* these zines.) Exquisitely illustrated by one of fandom's incomparable artists, Ann Larimer. I *highly* recommend this one. $10.00

~~Pulse Of The Machine~~ -- 1993, 119 pp. ST:TNG novel (Data/Tasha) written by Jean Kluge, illustrated by Marty Siegrist, Jean Kluge, Susi Leinbach and Melody Rondeau. This is the reprint edition: it contains the full text of the novel, a good selection of the original B&W pencil and pen-and-ink illos and one full color interior illo, and the color cover. Gorgeous zine. Some slight damage -- it looks like the zine may have been resting on something like a glass or other circular object that left a faint embossing throughout the zine in one spot. It doesn't hurt the illos or readability of the zine; the condition is otherwise very good. $10.00

I have one of each of these at Ebay. They are currently transparent transfers (for white shirts), but can be made into an opaque transfer (for color/dark shirts) at a local t-shirt place for $5.00. If you want it put on a shirt, I can work that out with you (because sizes/styles/costs vary so much, I have to make each shirt quote individually). I don't charge anything extra for the shirts -- whatever I have to pay to get them for you is what you'll pay me.
